About Me
I am a UX designer based in Brooklyn, NY. I have a background as a ceramicist and a photographer. Ceramics taught me to design functional objects and to consider how my choices effected the experience of using that object. I can draw a straight line between ceramics and UX design: whether I am designing a vase or and app to order pizza, the goal is to deliver usability and delight to the user. Training in photography gave me an eye for composing images and taught me to pay attention to detail. Photography also allowed me to become comfortable with being creative in a digital space.
